Beautiful low country engagement session with Nathan and Katie in Pawleys Island SC. Southern charm, true love, and lots of beautiful moments captured.

When Katie contacted me about photographing her Wedding and Engagement portraits I knew it was going to be special. Katie and Nathan live in Seattle but Katie is a Conway SC native. She wanted to do an engagement session the day before their beach Wedding and was looking for a very specific location. Her request: beautiful oaks with Spanish moss and gardens that radiated the beautiful Low-Country scenery she grew up around. Although she had never actually been to Caledonia Fish and Golf Club in Pawleys Island, she trusted my suggestion and it turned out wonderful. (I love when my clients trust me!)

I really connected with this couple. They were so down to earth, relaxed and fun to be around. Both Katie and Nathan are super smart- hence they work for Microsoft and they are playful. It was easy to see why after only 6 months together they knew they were meant for one another. Their connection is lovely and inspiring.
