Photography has been my full-time profession for over 20 years — and my creative passion for even longer.

I am inspired by life. Inspired by people. Inspired by the meaningful, fleeting, beautiful moments that deserve to be preserved with intention.

I grew up in West Virginia, where I owned and operated a portrait studio for more than a decade. In March 2017, I made a bold life decision to relocate to the Myrtle Beach area — drawn to the coastline, the light, and the warmth of Southern hospitality. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Creativity has always been part of who I am. Since childhood, I’ve felt a deep pull to create — whether through painting, sketching, poetry, or design. My love for photography took root while studying Journalism and Graphic Design in college. The moment I picked up a camera, something clicked. I haven’t put it down since.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people and creating artwork that now hangs in homes across the country. I don’t just take photographs — I create lasting visual stories. My goal is always the same: authentic, beautifully composed images that reflect who you truly are.

While senior portraits and family portraits have been the heart of my business since the beginning, my work has expanded to include professional headshots, branding photography, and real estate photography. Whether I’m capturing a milestone, building a brand, or showcasing a property, I approach every session with creativity, experience, and care.

Am I the right photographer for you?

There are thousands of photographers out there. You have a lot of choices. Endless choices. I always say find a photographer who's work you really connect with. You need to love how they compose, how they light, how they edit, and you should enjoy the experience.

If you look up the meaning of the word photography, it is defined as the process of creating images through chemical action of light. Without light, you can't make a photograph. Without good light you can't get flattering images and color. I've spent many years learning the craft of professional photography, practicing and experimenting with light sources, taking classes and workshops, learning from peers in the industry. I've invested a lot into the cameras, lenses, and lighting gear I use to make sure that I give my clients amazing results. I also see things with an artistic eye and edit my images in an artistic way. Your final images are perfected for the best possible color, contrast and sharpness. I don't outsource my editing so you are getting my artistry from start to finish.

During a shoot with a client, I am asking questions not only to get to know you, but also to get a feel for your lifestyle and what is most important to you. This helps me to artistically capture imagery that means something to you. I am there to tell your story.

A little more about me

I love to travel and explore new places, attend events around my area, learn new things, browse antique & vintage stores, hang out by the pool or ocean, create abstract and mixed media art, collect seashells & shark teeth, green thumb and just dream. Lots of dreaming. My feet are firmly planted but my head is definitely in the clouds. I believe that life really is beautiful and I try to soak up and give out all of the good that I can.

I have some pretty adorable fur babies that fill my life with a lot of joy.
