In celebration of Valentine's Day, we decided it was time to blog this beautiful winter wedding! Immersed in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia, this February 2017 Canaan Valley Resort Wedding celebration was inspirational to say the very least. Rain, snow, romance, cabins, eagles, country roads... it had all the feels! The venue was a natural choice for Amy and Chelsea as they spend a lot of time there skiing and hiking.

Amy and Chelsea were a complete joy to work with, so down to earth and full of love. Their day began at a cabin with close family and friends, their fur baby Mr. Cooper, a warm fire burning, and a spectacular view. 

The ceremony and reception, which took place at the Bear Paw Lodge, was decorated so beautifully with a mix of modern and vintage. Special touches such as a memory tree for loved ones no longer with them, creative dessert bar, open bar, pressed penny guest souvenirs, and advice cards kept their guests engaged and having a great time. 

Chelsea's musical performance during the reception was also an amazing personal touch.
