Some love stories just feel meant to be, and Kate and CJ’s is a wonderful example. Having first crossed paths as fellow schoolteachers, their shared passion for education quickly grew into a deep, lasting connection. To celebrate the beginning of this exciting new chapter, we met on a beautiful early August evening for an engagement session at Myrtle Beach State Park.
Myrtle Beach State Park provided the absolute dream backdrop for their coastal session. Between the golden sea oats along the dunes, the rustic charm of the boardwalk, and the iconic wooden pier sweeping into the Atlantic, every spot offered a warm, romantic frame for their connection. Kate’s stylish wardrobe change—from a vibrant patterned dress into a classic white beach outfit—perfectly complemented the soft pastel hues of the late afternoon sky and surf.
Capturing the joy between these two was effortless. From playful piggyback rides near the breaking waves to cozy dip kisses on the shoreline, Kate and CJ brought an infectious, genuine energy to every shot. It’s clear that the dedication and heart they bring to their classrooms every day is matched only by the love they share for one another.
If you are planning an engagement session in Myrtle Beach or along the Grand Strand, consider a location that reflects your style and gives you room to be yourselves. With the right setting and a calm, encouraging approach, your portraits can feel both elevated and authentic.
