Photographing the relationship between mothers and their children is an honor to say the least. Every time I do one of these sessions, I look at the images and can't help but wish I had pictures like them of my Mom and I when I was little. It just wasn't something parents did often back in my childhood time. Mother's Day is the perfect reason to offer these Mom and Me sessions each year in April/May. 

I met up with Melissa and her 6 month old cutie at Surfside Beach for their session recently. The sunset light on the beach was wonderful that evening and little Nixon was so cooperative even with a steady breeze blowing. He did have Mom snuggles the entire time to keep him nice and cozy though.
