Vacation Rental Photography in Carolina Beach: My Journey Up the Coast

Why Short-Term Rental Photography Brought Me to Carolina Beach

Stepping outside my usual Grand Strand footprint is always a refreshing adventure, especially when clients reach out from down the coast. Recently, I had the pleasure of heading north for a vacation rental photography session in Carolina Beach, NC.

My client, Teresa, recently purchased this stunning condo so she would have a dedicated spot to stay whenever she visits her family locally in the Carolina Beach area. Even though she is based out in Los Angeles, she did her research, loved the specific focus I bring to short-term rental properties, and wanted that exact look for her new coastal retreat. Because great visual marketing is essential for maximizing bookings while she is away, she was more than happy to cover travel time for the session.

A project like this turns into an immersive day on location:

  • Total travel: 4 hours round trip (about 2 hours each way)

  • Shooting time: 1.5 hours of meticulous interior and exterior staging and capture

  • Total commitment: A dedicated, all-day investment to ensure every room, angle, and amenity shines online

Beyond the Grand Strand: Travel Availability While Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, and Murrells Inlet remain my home turf, I am always open to traveling for the right project. If you own a vacation rental, boutique hotel, or commercial space in neighboring coastal communities, let’s talk!
