There’s something extra special about senior sessions that involve a little bit of travel—and Rakayla’s session was exactly that. As a Class of 2026 senior, she made the nearly two-hour trip to Pawleys Island for a one-of-a-kind senior portrait experience, and it absolutely paid off.
We were blessed with the most beautiful sunlight during her session, creating a warm, glowing touch in every image. The natural scenery at this location provided a stunning and versatile backdrop that allowed each outfit and moment to truly stand out.
Rakayla brought three different outfits, each one highlighting a different side of her. From casual and confident to elevated and elegant, she completely owned every look. One of the standout moments from her session was her stunning fuchsia prom dress—it popped beautifully against the natural tones and made her photos feel bold, vibrant, and unforgettable.
What made this session even more meaningful was the effort she put into making it happen. Traveling that distance shows just how much she valued having a unique senior portrait experience, and I’m so honored she chose me to capture such an important milestone.
Senior year is such a fleeting, exciting season of life, and sessions like Rakayla’s are the perfect way to preserve it. If you’re a high school senior looking for something beyond the ordinary, Pawleys Island offers a variety of beautiful, natural locations that create timeless and standout portraits.
Now booking Class of 2026 and 2027 senior portrait sessions in Pawleys Island and throughout the Myrtle Beach area. Let’s create something unforgettable.
