I had the honor to capture a beautiful surprise engagement proposal in Myrtle Beach this weekend. Colt contacted me over a month ago about being there to capture the moment he popped the big question to Olivia. He had planned a little getaway for the two of them and wanted to make it super special. February is a little chiller than usual but it's a great time to come to Myrtle Beach. 

Colt would tell Olivia that they were having a belated Valentine's Day couple photo session while at the beach. We decided on a location and planned to pretend we were doing a "funny" pose that required Olivia to turn her back to him. When I asked her to turn around he was down on his knee with the most beautiful ring. She was completely surprised.

Olivia and Colt have been together for 6 years and are in the processing of making a home together. I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness together! I did joke with them about the fact that he proposed on a leap year so they won't always be able to celebrate the anniversary of the proposal!
