Ashley and Darren's Marietta Ohio Wedding in October was simply beautiful. I've known this couple for a while as I've photographed their son and family portraits through the years. I was honored when they asked me over a year ago to be their Wedding photographer. Originally there was an extravagant Wedding planned but Darren and Ashley decided to scratch those plans and keep it simple. Their decision to say their vows in their own special way was truly the perfect one!

We started the day with them getting ready at their home before we ventured to downtown Marietta Ohio. No Wedding party, no guests, just them and an officiant who is a friend of Ashley's. Muskingum Park under the Weeping Willow trees made the most romantic setting and the weather was beautiful. After their short but heartfelt ceremony and some photos around the park, it was off to celebrate at The Marietta Brewing Company. Darren has a love for craft beer so this too was a perfect location for them. Watching them celebrate, laugh and enjoy their special day together was amazing.
